Mcity leader joins ITS America Board of Directors

Mcity Deputy Director Carrie Morton today was elected to the board of directors of the Intelligent Transportation Society of America.

Morton is one of 12 new board members, all leaders in the intelligent transportation industry, who represent private companies, public agencies, and academia. The board sets policy and strategic direction for the association. ITS America also elected three new officers.

“This new group of board members is very forward-thinking and shares our belief that intelligent transportation technology will save lives and improve mobility,” ITS America President and CEO Shailen Bhatt said in a statement. “We are thrilled to have them join us in this critical work.”
