Huei Peng Transportation Research Fellowship accepting contributions; fund will support graduate engineering students
The Huei Peng Transportation Research Fellowship, honoring late Mcity Director Huei Peng, will provide funding for graduate students in mechanical engineering at the University of Michigan who share Huei’s vision for improving society by making transportation safer, greener, more equitable and accessible.

The fellowship, established by U-M’s Department of Mechanical Engineering, where Huei joined the faculty in 1993, will support the next generation of transportation innovators and help ensure Huei’s legacy as a noted scholar, teacher and researcher. Huei was also the Roger L. McCarthy Professor of Mechanical Engineering at U-M.
